Tony Lokko’s long-term future at Berekum Chelsea is bleak following his side’s exit from the CAF Champions League, GHANAsoccernet.com understands

Lokko failed to travel with the team for their return leg fixture against Ahly Benghazi which they lost 2-0 to crash out of Africa elite inter-club competition on a 3-1 aggregrate score.

The former Amidaus Professionals trainer is believed to be unhappy at the club after irate fans nearly attacked him at his residence after their 1-1 home draw against the Libyan side.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that officials of the Berekum-based side are considering the future of the coach with sources suggesting they will part company with him.

Even though officials have been reluctant to talk about the matter publicly, it’s hugely speculated that he will not see out his contract at the club.

Lokko joined Chelsea at the start of the season but has failed to inspire the club to a decent position on the table.

They lie 12th on the table with two outstanding games to play.
