Aduana Stars newly appointed coach Yusif Abubakar says he chose to join the club because of the existing peace at the club and not because of the money.

The former All Blacks, King Faisal, Hearts of Oak, Berekum Chelsea and Heart of Lions coach signed two years with the 2010 league champions.

He replaces  Romanian trainer Coiaba Aristica as head coach ahead of the 2016/2017 season.

"My move to Aduana Stars isn't because of money. If I should disclose the amount of money I'm taking as signing on fee people will be surprised," Abubakar said.

"That's not what I'm looking for at the moment and not money. I'm looking at where there's peace, determination and support.

"I'm very sure there is peace in Aduana Stars and nothing is new to me in football in terms of my contract.

''It's because of the existing peace I know in Aduana that propelled me to sign."
