Head coach of Columbus Crew Gregg Berhalter says he will have a dialogue with the Ghana Football Association in regards to the release of his three players for their clash with Atlanta on Saturday.

Columbus Crew Defenders Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful and midfielder Mohammed Abu did not participate in the team’s training on Monday after helping the side defeat Montreal Impact 4-1 last Saturday.

The trio joined the Black Stars camp as the team prepare for the international friendly against El Tri of Mexico, which is set to come off tonight at the NRG Stadium in Texas Houston and another against the Yankee Boys of USA on July 1.

However, should the trio take part in Ghana’s match against the Yankee Boys on Saturday, they will miss the club’s MLS crunch clash against Atlanta.

And Berhalter said he will speak with the Ghana Football Association regarding the availability of his three players ahead of Saturday’s game.
