Ghanaian players were involved in action for their clubs abroad over the weekend ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers in a fortnight.

English-born Kwesi Appiah failed to make the first team grades at Crystal Palace.

In the League One, Patrick Agyemang played the entire duration of the game for Portsmouth as they defeated Bury 2-0 to move to the 23rd place on the table.
