Comprehensive wrap of Ghanaian players abroad; Jordan Ayew scores; Kwadwo Asamoah shines

ITALY

AC Milan succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Juventus to at the San Siro. Kwadwo Asamoah passed a late fitness test to play full time for the league leaders.

But Michael Essien warmed the bench while Sulley Muntari was suspended for Milan.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was unused by Udinese when they suffered a 3-0 away defeat to Cagliari.

Genoa posted a 2-0 win over Catania. Isaac Cofie was on the Genoa bench same as AC Milan loanee Kingsley Boateng.

Parma moved 6th on the table after beating ten-man Sassuolo 1-0 at their own backyard. Raman Chibsah was unused but Afriyie Acquah came off the Parma bench in the 68th minute.

Godfred Donsah lost his place in the Hellas Verona team when they failed to beat Bologna as they drew 0-0.

Alfred Duncan came off the bench to play the last 8 minutes of the game for Livorno who drew 1-1 with Napoli.

In the Serie B, Masahudu Alhassan played in defence for Latina who beat Padova 3-0.

Carpi surprised themselves with a 2-0 away victory over Brescia. Mase Nana Addo Welbeck and Isaac Ntow were not in the Brescia team but Maxwell Acosty came off the bench to play 19 minutes for Carpi.

Fiorentina loanee Amidu Salifu played the full 90 minutes for Modena who posted a 2-0 win over Crotone.

Moro Al-Hassan was on the Cesena bench when they drew 2-2 with Trapani.

FRANCE

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris was booked in the 78th minute and lasted the entire 90 minutes for Valenciennes who lost 3-1 at Stade Reims.

Defender John Boye lasted the entire 90 minutes for Stade Rennes who beat lost 2-0 at favourite Route de la Lorient to Guingamp.

Jordan Ayew climbed off the bench Sochaux bench in the 68th minute and scored 2 minutes later when they beat Bordeux 2-0 on Saturday.

Andre Ayew was in full time action for Olympique Marseille when Paris Saint-Germain beat them 2-0 on Sunday in an away fixture for Marseille.

In the Ligue 2, Caen improved their promotion chances with a 2-1 home win over Clermont Foot. AS Monaco loanee Dennis Appiah played at lateral defence for Caen.

Striker Kwame Nsor could not gain match fitness in time to play in Metz's 1-0 win over Nancy.

GERMANY

Anthony Annan did not travel with the Schalke 04 team but kevin-Prince Boateng played the entire 90 minutes for the Royal Blues when Bayern Munich condemned them to a 5-1 defeat.

Ghana hopeful Karim Bellarabi played the full 90 minutes for Eintracht Braunschweig when Borussia Mon'gladbach held them to a 1-1 draw.

Marcel Appiah contributed his bits in defence for Arminia Bielefeld but they were beaten 2-0 at Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Charles Takyi missed Energie Cottbus's 1-0 with over Kaiserslautern with injury.

Baba Abdul Rahman was in full time action for Greuther Furth when they beat FSV Frankfurt 3-2.

German-born Reagy Ofosu failed to make the Ingolstadt first team squad when they lost 2-1 at home to Dynamo Dresden.

In the Liga 3, Phil Ofosu-Aryeh completed the entire regulation minutes for MSV Duisburg who drew 0-0 with Wehen Wiesbaden.

Frederick Kyereh played 65 minutes for Elversberg who lost 2-0 to second-placed RB Leipzig.

Midfielder Denis-Danso Weidlich completed the full 90 minutes for Hansa Rostock who suffered a 2-1 home loss to Chemnitzer FC.

ENGLAND

Derek Boateng failed to make the Fulham first team squad under Felix Magath when they lost 3-1 to Chelsea at the Craven Cottage.

In the Npower Championship, Jeffrey Schulpp continued to improved his season stats as he played the entire 90 minutes and helped Leicester City to beat Charlton Athletics 3-0.

Koby Arthur was not in the Birmingham City first team squad when they lost 1-0 to Ipswich Town.

Albert Adomah played 58 minutes of Middlesbrough's 1-0 away loss to Sheffield Wednesday.

Emmanuel Frimpong was a 77th minute substitute by Barnsley who got destroyed by Huddersfield Town in a 5-0 riot.

SCOTLAND

In the Premiership, Prince Buaben played 90 minutes for Patrick Thistle and was booked in the 78th minute when they drew 1-1 with Ross County.

Kevin Luckassen was not in the Ross County team.

Arsenal loanee Daniel Boateng was brought on in the 71st minute by Hibernian who surprisingly lost 3-1 to Dundee United at home.

SPAIN

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom came off the bench in the 82nd minute to play for Elche FC when they beat Celta de Vigo 1-0.

Fatau Mohammed was forced off the field with injury in the 25th when Granada FC lost 4-0 at Atletic Club. Richard Boateng was introduced in the 76th minute by Granada.

In the Segunda Division, Thomas Partey came off the bench in the 46th minute to play for Real Mallorca who lost 2-1 with nine men to Barcelona II.

Richard Boate played for Granada II on Friday when they beat Guadalajara 1-0. But Cliffford Aboagye could not make the Granada II 18-man squad for the game.

Razak Brimah was in post for Cordoba II in their 1-1 draw with La Roda.

Paul Quaye played the entire 90 minutes for Espanyol II when they beat Huracán Valencia 1-0.

NETHERLANDS 

Christian Atsu set up the first goal for Vitesse Arnhem when they posted a 3-0 comfortable win over Roda JC. He was replaced after 80 minutes by Burkinabe international Betrand Traore.

Heerenveen sneaked past Heracles Almelo after beating them 2-1. Kwame Quansah played the entire 90 minutes in midfield while Matthew Amoah came off the bench to play the last 9 minutes but Edwin Gyasi was unused.

Fred Benson played 19 minutes for PEC Zwolle who drew 3-3 with NEC.

The impressive Elvis Manu created and scored a penalty to help Cambuur draw 1-1 with Groningen. Defender Johan Kapperlhof also played the entire 90 minutes for Groningen.

Kwadjo Amevor was at the heart of defence for Go Ahead Eagles when PSV Eindhoven ran out with a 3-2 away win. Memphis Depay was on the score-sheet.

Jeffrey Sarpong dropped to the NAC Breda bench when they drew 1-1 with ADO Den Haag.

Shadrach Eghan warmed the bench for FC Twente during their 1-1 away draw with FC Utrecht.

Mitch Apau warmed the bench for RKC Waalwijk whne AZ Alkmaar condemned them to a 4-0 loss.

In the second-tier league, Kevin Tete played the entire 90 minutes for Jong Ajax who beat Den Bosch 3-2.

Jonathan Opoku scored in the 57th minute for Oss who posted a 4-0 win over Eindhoven.

Erixon Danso played 65 minutes for Dordrecht who drew 1-1 with Fortuna Sittard. Patrick Amoah was not in the Sittard team.

TURKEY 

Jerry Akaminko was at the heart of defence for Eski?ehirspor who split points with Kasimpasa after drawing 1-1.

In the Lig 1, Balikesirspor conceded late to draw 2-2 with Samsunspor. Richard Kingson manned the post for Balikesirspor but Kwame Karikari was not in the Bali team for the game.

Injured Torric Jebril watched from the stands as his 1461 Trabzon lost 3-2 to Bucaspor. Shaibu Yakubu was on the bench.

Emmanuel Banahene was not in the ?anl?urfaspor when they held Boluspor to a 0-0 draw.

PORTUGAL 

David Addy impressed for Vitória Guimarães when he helped them to draw 2-2 with FC Porto on Sunday. He was booked in the 19th minute.

In the Liga de Honra, Alhassan Wakaso helped Portimonense to beat Leixões 3-0.

Injured Haminu Dramani watched his Gil Vicente beat Vitoria Setubal 1-0.

BELGIUM

Anderlecht posted a 2-0 win over KRC Genk. Frank Acheampong missed the game with injury but Bennard Kumordzi played 90 minutes for Genk.

Daniel Opare was on the Standard Liege bench when they lost 1-0 to Club Brugge.

Nana Akwasi Asare scored in the 39th minute for KAA Gent who posted a 2-1 win over Sporting Charleroi. Abraham Kudemor sat on the Sporting bench.

Lokeren suffered a 1-0 away loss to KV Mechelen. Eugene Ansah came off the bench to play the last four minutes of regulation time.

Jerry Vandam played in defence for Mechelen.

SLOVAKIA

John Mensah could not play his first game for Nitra who drew 0-0 with Spartak Trnava.

SWITZERLAND 

In the Challenge League, Kofi Nimeley played full time for Locarno who lost 6-2 to Wil.
