Ghanaian youngsters Shadrach Eghan, Nana Boateng and Ernest Asante all grabbed league goals for their clubs in Europe while Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah scored in Juventus' pre-season win against Singapore XI.

There was a goal for Prince Buaben in Scotland while Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, Kwesi Appiah, Randy Bonsu, William Owusu, Nasiru Mohammed, David Accam and Gideon Baah all got on target for their various clubs.

FRANCE

Dennis Appiah was cruelly sent off in Caen's 1-0 home loss against Lille on Saturday. The 22-year-old's soft challenge on Belgian Divork Origi was adjudged a penalty and the French-born former AS Monaco youngster was marched off though there appeared to be no contact.

Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew marked his Ligue 1 debut for Lorient in their 0-0 stalemate with OG Nice. The 22-year-old played until the 62nd minute.

Former Ghana U20 striker Kwame Nsor was not in the Metz squad that shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Nantes.

Evian TG are still without a win after the second week of the Ligue following their heavy 6-2 humiliation at Stade Rennes on Saturday. Jonathan Mensah came off the Evian bench to play the last 16 minutes of the game.

Montpellier left Olympique Marseille in shock after beating them 2-0 at their favourite Stade Velodrome on Sunday evening. Ghana's Andre Ayew started the game for Marcelo Biesla side and played until he was replaced in the 52nd minute.

BELGIUM

Nana Akwasi Asare set up two goals for KAA Gent who posted a 3-1 win over Zulte-Waregem in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday evening.

Midfielder Bennard Kumordzi was booked in the 17th minutes and played full throttle for KRC Genk who held Kortrijk to a 1-1 stalemate at the Guldensporenstadion.

KV Mechelen slipped to their third straight defeat of the season after losing 2-0 at KV Oostende. Neither defender Jerry Vandam nor midfielder Abdul-Yakinu-Iddi was in the Mechelen squad for the game.

Lokeren restored their winning run after posting a 2-0 win over Lierse SK. Belgian-born defender Denis Odoi was in full-time action for Lokeren but former Liberty Professionals youth team player Eugene Ansah was unused by the victors.

Elsewhere in the second-tier league, former Gil Vicente forward William Owusu netted the consolation goal for FC Antwerp who slipped to a 2-1 home reverse against OH Leuven. Dutch-born youngster Kevin Tano was not in the Antwerp squad for the game.

AS Eupen went top of the league after beating Tubize 1-0. Defender Stephen Asamoah played the entire 90 minutes of the game for Eupen.

NETHERLANDS

In the Eredivisie on Friday night, powerful attacker Elvis Manu played the last 14 minutes of the game for Feyenoord who drew 1-1 with Heerenveen.

PSV Eindhoven confirmed their superiority over NAC Breda after hammering them 6-1 at the Philips Arena. Former AC Milan young attacker Kingsley Boateng played the entire duration of the game for NAC while Dutch-born Jeffrey Sarpong was brought by NAC in the 49th minute.

Prodigious Ghanaian Shadrach Eghan made a huge statement about his imperious form when he came off the FC Twente bench to save their blushes by scoring in the 86th minute to a 2-2 draw for them against ADO Den Haag.

Young defender Kenny Tete earned his place in the Ajax Amsterdam first team squad but warmed the bench for the entire duration of the game as they nailed AZ Alkmaar to a 3-1 defeat.

FC Groningen kept the pressure on leaders PSV at the top after recording a 3-1 win over Heracles Almelo. Defender Johan Kappelhof played in central defence for Groningen. Winger Edwin Gyasi was a second-half substitute by Heracles.

18-year-old attacker Rodney Antwi marked his Eredivisie debut when he replaced Nacer Barazite in the 69th minute for FC Utrecht who beat Willem II 2-1.

Meanwhile in the Eerste Divisie, striker Jonathan Opoku contributed to two goals for Oss who posted a 4-0 away win over RKC Waalwijk.

Jong Ajax made it two wins out of two after beating Fortuna Sittard 2-0 at their own backyard. Leroy Owusu started the game and ended while attacker Elton Acolatse was brought on mid-way through the second-half.

Defender Marcel Appiah was in commanding form in defence for NEC who cruised to a 2-0 win over Volendam on Friday.

ENGLAND

Jeffrey Schlupp's Premier League debut turned undesirable when he missed a sitter and probably a miss of the season contender against Everton. The 21-year-old had come off the bench for Leicester City and was presented with the best chance of the game to score but he unbelievably wasted it in a game that ended 2-2. Chelsea's Christian Atsu was unused by the Everton.

Hiram Boateng did not the Crystal Palace squad for their trip to Arsenal which ended in a 2-1 loss at the Emirates Stadium.

In the Championship, winger Albert Adomah was in full time action for Middlesbrough who slipped to a 1-0 loss at the Elland Road against Leeds United.

Youngster Koby Arthur could not make the Birmingham City squad for their 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

In the League Two, English-born Kwesi Appiah scored in the 69th minute for Cambridge United but his goal was not enough as Portsmouth pipped them 1-0 at the Fratton Park.

GERMANY

Karim Bellarabi set up the fifth goal for Bayer Leverkusen who posted a 6-0 win over Alemannia Waldalgesheim in the Pokal Cup on Friday.

Kumasi-born Canadian international Randy Edwini-Bonsu scored a consolation goal for Stuttgarter Kickers who suffered a 4-1 loss against Borussia Dortmund.

Baba Rahman warmed the bench for Augsburg who have been eliminated from the competition after losing 1-0 against fourth-tier side Magdeburg.

German-born Reagy Ofosu played 76 minutes for Chemnitzer FC who have eliminated Mainz 05 after beating them 5-4 on penalties.

Philemon Ofosu Aryeh was booked in the 117th minute and played the entire duration of the game for Aalen who won 5-4 on penalties against Schwarz-Weiß.

SCOTLAND

Midfielder Prince Buaben scored from the spot to help Hearts of Midlothian book a 2-1 win over Hibernian on Sunday.

DENMARK

Former Black Stars regular Francis Dickoh was in full time action for FC Midtjylland who posted a 2-1 win over FC Copenhagen in the Danish derby on Friday. Danny Amankwaa and Daniel Amartey both started the game for FC Copenhagen.

German-born Ghanaian defender Lenny Sowah marked his debut for Vestsjælland in their 2-0 win over Silkeborg on Sunday.

In the second-tier league, Jeff Mensah played 60 minutes for Viborg who drew 0-0 with Skive. His brother Kevin Mensah was not in the Viborg squad for the game.

ITALY

Torino loanee Emmanuel Gyasi sat on the Pisa bench for the entire match when they beat Carpi 1-0 in the Italian Cup.

In pre-season friendlies, Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah came off the bench in the 62nd minute to score the last goal for Juventus in their 5-0 win over Singapore XI.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Former Liberty Professionals midfielder Isaac Sackey played the entire minutes of the game for Slovan Liberec who drew 1-1 with Dukla Praha. Dutch-born Kevin Luckassen was not in the Liberec squad for the game.

In other games, Derick Mensah played the entire period of the game for Banik Ostrava who beat Spartak Praha 1-0. Francis Narh conspicuously missed out.

CROATIA

Lee Addy was not in the Dinamo Zagreb team that won 1-0 against Split.

NORWAY

IK Start suffered a 3-2 home loss against Stromsgodset. Ernest Asante scored for Start while Nana Boateng also registered his name on the scoresheet for Stroms. Along in the Stroms team were goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey and midfielder Mohammed Abu.

Former Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo warmed the bench for Sogndal who surrendered their lead to loss 4-2 against Viking.

USA

Striker Dominic Oduro played 74 minutes for FC Toronto who lost 4-1 against Sporting Kansas City.

In other games, Gershon Kwoffie was not in the Vancouver WhiteCaps squad when they drew 0-0 with Chivas USA.

FINLAND

Former Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah scored in the 29th minute to help HJK beat Mariehamn 2-1 to reach the final of the Finnish Cup.

SWITZERLAND

FC Sion recorded a 3-2 home loss against giants FC Basel. Ghana winger Ishmael Yartey was an unused substitute but striker Ebenezer Assifuah missed the game with injury.

In other games, Young Boys Bern silenced newly-promoted Vaduz 2-0. Attacker Samuel Afum was unused by Young Boys in the game.

SWEDEN

Nasiru Mohammed scored a brace for BK Hacken when they posted a 4-1 win over Halmstad BK. King Osei-Gyan and Joseph Baffo were both in the Halmstad team for the game. Ghanaian youngster Richard Donkor sat on the Hacken bench but there was not Augustine Okrah in their squad.

David Accam scored the opening goal for Helsingborg IF who beat Elfsborg 4-1. After scoring, he was replaced in the 78th minute by countryman Ema Boateng.

Former Heart of Lions striker Kwame Bonsu was unused by Mjällby who stunned Norrköping 3-1.

Örebro silenced AIK Solna after beating them 4-2. Ibrahim Moro, Ebenezer Ofori and Kwame Karikari all played for AIK.

RUSSIA

Black Stars midfielder Rabiu Mohammed started the game for Kuban' Krasnodar and played until the 80th minute when they held Mordovia Saransk to a 0-0 draw.

Abdul Majeed Waris started the game and lasted until the 68th minute for Spartak Moscow who beat CSKA Moskva 1-0.

Wakaso Mubarak was a bench warmer for Rubin Kazan who drew 1-1 with Lokomotiv Moskva.

ROMANIA

Astra posted a 2-1 win over CSMS Ia?i. Midfielder Seidu Yahaya started the game for Astra while striker Sadat Bukari was unused.
