Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko believes his club Eskisehirspor can produce another famous result when they face giants Galatasaray in the Turkish top flight on Saturday.

The Red Lightning secured an impressive 2-1 win over Fernerbahce just last weekend and are already eyeing another giant scalp.

Akaminko, 25, has been one of the impressive performers for Ertugrul Saglam’s side this term – missing just two games in the Super Lig.

The Ghana international is high on confidence going into the weekend’s clash against Galatasaray.

“We go into these games with the big clubs with no fear but added motivation to beat them,” Akaminko told Africa Football Shop.

“We have a good team and the spirit in the camp is always high. We play for each other on the field with the sole aim of making our fans happy. “We will approach Gala the same way we prepared for Fener.

“It’s not much of a secret but we enjoy playing football and we are one of the best in the Super Lig at keeping possession. “We fear no team in Turkey and we believe in our abilities.”

Eskisehirspor are currently sixth in the Turkish top flight but just two points adrift a top four place going into the weekend’s round of games.
