The Black Stars will take on the Hawks of Togo in Accra on Monday as part of preparations for their 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mauritius.

Coach Avram Grant has named a strong 23 man squad for the game which includes skipper Asamoah Gyan who returns to team after missing the last two games through injury.

Conspicuously missing from the squad though is Juventus ace Kwadwo Asamoah who failed to make the cut despite recovering from a horrific injury that has kept him out of action for over six months.

The four time African champions have been paired in group H against Mozambique, Rwanda and Mauritius for the qualification series whiles Togo have been housed in group A which contains Tunisia, Liberia and Djibouti.

The Stars will begin a nonresidential camping on Thursday before opening their qualification series against Mauritius on the 14th of June
