CAF has confirmed that Sierra Leone will play next month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against DR Congo in Accra.

The Group D qualifier was scheduled on September 10 in Freetown.

CAF has informed FECOFA (DR Congo Football Federation) that the qualifier has been relocated.

Ebola-affected Guinea will also host Togo outside the country in their opening game of the AFCON qualifiers in Group E, after Togo officials have asked CAF to move the match.

More fixtures may be affected as Rwanda are also raising concerns over Ebola ahead of a scheduled trip to Calabar on September 6, in their match opener in Group A against Nigeria who have confirmed ten Ebola cases so far.

These are part of efforts to contain the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in the sub-region.
