'Confused' Kotoko declare midfielder Yahaya Mohammed missing
Yahaya Mohammed has been declared missing

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have declared top player Yahaya Mohammed missing after learning of his reported contract with Libyan side Ittihad Tripoli.

The Porcupine Warriors returned from their disappointing CAF Champions League elimination to learn of the horrid news of Yahaya signing a deal with the Libyan giants.

Under-fire Kotoko  interim chief  Samuel Opoku Nti reveals his outfit has been trying to get hold of the 2014 Ghana CHAN star since Monday but they have yielded no fruitful results.

"We don't know where to locate him and we're looking for him," he said.

The 22-time Ghanaian champions could report the player to the Ghana FA for investigations into the reports.

But the midfielder has insisted in an interview with a local newspaper 90 Minutes that he has not signed a binding contract for the Libyan club and still remain a player for the Porcupine Warriors.
