Congo coach Camille Ngakosso has tipped Ghana to win the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations after watching his side lose 3-1 in the qualifiers on Friday night.

The Red Devils put up an improved performance in the return fixture at the Baba Yara stadium but succumbed to pressure in the second half as goals from Isaac Vorsah, Prince Tagoe and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu ensured the Black Stars completed the double.

Ngakosso told reporters Ghana have enough ammunition to win their first Nations Cup trophy since 1982.

"We played better than we did in the first encounter but I think this Ghana team is great and will be a team to beat in next year’s Nations Cup,” Ngakosso said.

"They have a solid team with great players who can turn on the style at anytime and so I’m not really surprised we lost today even though we gave off our best and we can’t complain."

Ghana have opened a three point lead in group I with Sudan and Swaziland expected to slug it out on Saturday.
