Ghana assistant coach Akwesi Appiah says Congo will not be a ''walkover'' as he charges the team to raise the bar in Friday’s African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Black Stars recorded a first leg 0-3 win in Brazzaville in March and it is expected that feat will be marched at the Baba Yara Stadium.
But Appiah does not not want his players to be drawn into the aura of complacency insisting they have great respect for the Red Devils.
"It's going to be a tough match and people should not equate the results of the first game to this one. This is football and things happen all the time and the Congolese will be difficult nut to crack," Appiah said.
"We're focused and the players know what happened when we played against Sudan and will guard against any form of complacency whatsoever."
