Antonio Conte will reportedly pursue Arturo Vidal’s signature at Premier League giants Chelsea, should he take over in west London.

The 28-year-old midfield dynamo has scored three goals this season, assisting four times for Bayern Munich from a total of 24 appearances in all competitions, after being snapped up from Juventus.

According to the Daily Star, Antonio Conte, who has been tipped to take over from Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge, will consider a summer move for his former Bianconeri player Vidal.

The current Italy boss was in attendance during Juventus’ 2-2 draw with the Bavarian giants during last night’s Champions League clash.

The Blues’ technical director Michael Emenalo was also present during the game and it’s being said that he was there to scout the Chilean midfielder.

Vidal joined Bayern Munich from Juventus in the summer of 2015 for a fee in the region of â‚¬37 million and he has previously plied his trade with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
