Newly-appointed Aduana Stars coach JE Sarpong wants to name his own assistant in a controversial move despite being told Kwabena Ameywaw will be second-in-command, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

The former Liberty Professionals trainer has arrived in Dormaa Ahenkro on Monday and expected to finalize his backroom staff.

It was earlier reported that Kwabena Ameyaw, who was stop-gap coach for the club last season, will assist the experienced trainer.

There is a seeming controversy after Sarpong arrived at the club with another coach whose name has been mentioned as Quaye.

"He(JE Sarpong) just arrived in Dormaa lst night.I have not even set eyes on him but we will be meeting today to resolve whatever controversy that is emerging," Aduana Operations manager George Gyau said.

"For now that is what I can say."

JE Sarpong has signed a one-year contract to coach the 2010 Ghana Premier League champions.
