Goalkeeper Razak Brimah got permission to absent himself from Cordoba’s training session on Monday to work on his travel documents for Ghana’s upcoming friendly against Canada, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Black Stars are billed to face Canada in an international friendly to be played in Washington on October 13.

Invitations have already be sent to the players to be invited to allow them begin securing the needed travel documents in time to make the trip.

Brimah asked to be excused from training on Monday in order to go secure a visa for the friendly match.

The first choice goalkeeper is expected to be named in Avram Grant’s squad for next month’s friendly match.

He will however face stiff competition from Adam Kwarasey who has confirmed he is returning to the side after a 16-month self-imposed exile.
