Amidst on-the-pitch issues that are gradually tearing Accra Hearts of Oak apart, there are also accusations and counter-accusations among old executives of the club as famous ex-CEO Thomas Okine and former financier Isaac Tetteh took to a radio rumpus on Monday night.

In the latest nadir, the two former insiders had their banter on Accra-based Oman FM about the appalling state of things at the former CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup title winners.

The 2000 African champions are trudging through difficult times with players failing to deliver on the pitch while fans clash with management and board members with coach Mohammed Polo also having his own share of the latest escalating problems.

On Monday night, Isaac Tetteh who is a former money-bag for the club was asked about the club's indebtedness but he swerved to lash out at Board Chairman Commodore Mensah and accused Thomas Okine for the current troubles bedevilling the 20-time Ghanaian champions.

"We made a big mistake at the time by voting Commodore Mensah as Board Chairman. He is one of the major contributors to the crisis at the club now. Tommy Okine is also guilty. All of them must be blamed," he said on Accra-based Oman FM.

Minutes after his comments, Thomas Okine who is a sub chief in Accra called in to the show to ask Tetteh to retract his comments but Tetteh refused to take back his comments and insisted they remain fair and justified comments.

"I know I'm not supposed to discussed football issues on radio due to my position but I'm unhappy with Tetteh's comments and I ask him to retract them," he said.

Okine remains one of the celebrated Ghanaian football administrators after guiding Hearts of Oak to six title successes in successions but his current rulership position as a sub chief has taken him out of public football politics but his outburst on Monday is expected to shake up things at the club.

The untimely sacking of David Duncan has exposed gull and anger among former management member, executives and fans who are continuously fingering the club's leaders for the current state of things.

In the current mounting of pressure, Harry Zakkour, the man who has been credited with Hearts' successes in the early 2000s, has taken the board members of the club to the cleaners and called for a dissolution.

Zakkour, who is obviously unhappy with the way things are done at the club also claims the club still owes him hundreds of dollars and wants to have his money back.

Now pressure is on Mohammed Polo and his playing body to salvage the image of the club and lift the pressure off the shoulders of the board and management members.

But his own future at the club is under scrutiny.
