CRISIS: Ghana's World Cup qualifying opponents gear up while Black Stars in limbo
The Black Stars

Black Stars are uncertain about their planned test matches ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup World Cup qualifiers while their opponents are well focused for the task.

Ghana have their plan in disarray while Egypt, Congo and Uganda gear up to secure qualification.

As the team have already qualified for next year's showpiece to be staged in Gabon but Grant wants to use the match plus the Russia friendly to access team ahead of the qualifiers.

But it is not clear if Israeli trainer's supposed plan will take effect as players have been told to afford their own air tickets as the Sports Ministry is cash strapped.

This comes after the Sports Minister, Nii Lante Vanderpuye expressed displeasure at the squad, dominated by foreign based regular Black Stars first team players, insisting the Grant should have selected local players for the match as the team have already qualified.

The countries in the same group who have already qualified for AFCON are playing with their full squads and playing friendlies afterwards.
