Crocked Andre Ayew out for 10-days

Andre Ayew K.O for 10-days through groin injury

Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew will be out of action for 10-days due to a groin injury sustained while on international duty with Ghana.

The injury deprived the 21-year-old a chance of playing in Monday’s prestigious friendly with Brazil, which the Black Stars eventually lost by a lone goal.

The son of Ghana legend, Abedi Pele has become an integral figure in the OM setup since returning from loan stints with Lorient and Arles Avignon.

Ayew will now miss Saturday’s Ligue 1 match at home to Rennes and next week’s opening Champions League group match against Olympiakos in Athens.

The former European champions have been drawn in Group F, with Arsenal of England and Germany’s Borussia Dortmund completing the pool.

After four games of the French league season, Marseille lie 16th in the 20-team league – without a win to their name.
