Great Olympics striker Abel Manomey is expected to go under the knife this week after breaking his leg at training.

Manomey, who has been key in the side's relegation fight, suffered the setback last week.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker could be sidelined for several months after suffering the serious injury.

“On Wednesday we were having a training match when I got injured, I broke my tibia and fibula bone but I am recovering gradually. I am hoping to have a surgery this week,” he told Happy FM.

“I will have a review tomorrow and by the end of this week I will have a surgery done.”

He has scored five goals for the Wonder Club of Ghana.
