Police picked up four Istanbul fans

Irate Istanbul fans attacked their Great Olympics counterparts and made attempt to man-handle match officials in the aftermath of the 2-1 in the Ghanaian Division One Zonal Middle League, according to reports.

Police in Kumasi have picked up six macho men who are purported Istanbul supporters who got involved in violent acts at the Baba Yara Stadium after their side lost against Great Olympics.

Fierce clashes were recorded after the end of the game as fans of Istanbul tried to stage a brutal fight.

Istanbul midfielder Samuel Okyere and their goalkeeper rushed match officials after the final whistle while officials from their side of the dug-out also tried to inflict their anger on officials.
