Crystal Palace chief Steve Browett confident beating drop

Crystal Palace chief Steve Browett remains confident of staying up.

The Eagles shareholder, previously a co-chairman alongside Steve Parish, travels to every game home and away, and hopes luck can play a part in beating Middlesbrough this Saturday.

"It has been bad, and I think at Bournemouth we all felt we finally turned that corner, because that was a good result and good performance," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

"There have many times where Palace haven't got the results, but the thing I can't understand is that we've got some pretty good players and just things just haven't been working out for us.

"We beat Bournemouth but then the game against Sunderland was back down to depression again for the fans. I am sure we can turn it around, I can't see a reason why we can't, we have some really good players."
