Crystal Palace are eyeing Sporting CP striker Islam Slimani.
The London Evening Standard says Slimani is a January transfer target for Crystal Palace although the club may be put off by Sporting Lisbon's £14 million valuation of the forward.
Palace manager Alan Pardew is thought to be keen on the player and he has been scouted but Slimani will be tough to prise away from his club in the winter market.
The price for Slimani is set to drop to £10.6m in the summer, when he is likely to be a more attractive proposition for potential buyers.
