Following Jeffery Schlupp’s recent move to Crystal Palace, The Eagles goalie Wayne Hennessey has praised the Ghanaian for his swift impact on the team.

Schlupp joined Crystal Palace on a four-year deal in January after winning the English Premier League with Leicester City last season.

Before the international break, the 24-year old was handed a starting role against Watford, a game Crystal Palace won by a lone goal.

And Henessey believes the Ghanaian jelled with the team in a very comfortable style.

“We were unlucky with Patrick [van Aanholt], it was a nasty injury at West Brom but Jeffrey has come in and he’s done really well and didn’t even look like he hadn’t played many games.

“We’re not making as many mistakes as we were and we’re creating a lot more,” Hennessey said, as reported by London News Online.

“The back four have been fantastic, they’ve been so solid and good as a unit.

"He’s really happy with himself.”

The Ghanaian fell out with former Leicester City manager Claudio Renneiri after winning the EPL with them and had to make the move to his current club.
