Daniel Amartey has been handed a starting role in Leicester City’s clash at Manchester United in the early kick-off on Saturday.

Manager Claudio Ranieri fielded the Ghana international in midfield alongside Riyad Mahrez, Danny Drinkwater and Marc Albrighton.

This is the fourth start for the 21-year-old since replacing Nampalys Mendy.

Compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp, who has returned from injury, has been handed a role on the bench.

Leicester City, the defending champions, will be without first choice goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel who is injured and has been replaced with Ron-Robert Zieler.
