Ghana defender Daniel Amartey is set to make an injury return for Leicester City U23 side in the semifinal against Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium.
The 23-year-old has been on the treatment table since sustaining an injury in the Foxes 1-1 stalemate with AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League last month.
The former FC Copenhagen right back consequently missed six games, and is set to make a return to the green turf in the side's U23 match against Aston Villa on Friday.
"Kasper [Schmeichel] is still injured like [Shinji] Okazaki , they are both not available,” Puel said in his club's fitness update on Thursday.
“Some players like Amartey will come back with the Under-23s and we will see if he can come back into training.”
Amartey has made just eight league appearances, involving six starts, so far.
