Daniel Asamoah insists he has no personal grudges against Ashantigold despite his controversial exit from the club.
The 29-year-old terminated his contract with the miners after spending an incredible 13 years at the club.
The powerful midfielder endured a difficult spell under current coach Bashir Hayford where he was restricted to the substitute bench, forcing him to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
Asamoah insists he has no personal axe to grind against his former employers.
ââ¬ÅI donââ¬â¢t hold anything against Ashantigold. This is a club I have played for 13 years and I feel very happy leaving,â⬠he told Oman FM
ââ¬ÅI have benefited immensely from Ashantigold. I have built a house, married and build a nice family due to my association with the club.
ââ¬ÅI hold no personal beef with anybody and thank the management and the supporters for their support over the years.
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s been great working with the club and I will forever remain grateful for the mutual cooperation.ââ¬
Asamoah is now available on the free transfer and can join any club of his choice.
