Influential TP Mazembe midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei says he is least bothered over failing to make the list of best players in Africa despite helping TP Mazembe to CAF Champions League glory.
The TP Mazembe star played a pivotal role to ensure his side won their fifth CAF Champions League trophy after defeating Algerian Club USM Algers in the finals.
His performance after coming on in the second half against USM Alger in the final is considered as one of the most influential performance by a player in the competition.
But after being over looked by the technical handlers of the confederation of Africa football adjei says he is not bucked down at all.
““Am not disappointed at all, they are watching the game, they know the players who are doing well for them to choose so is nothing, just that I have to work and maintain my position,” he said told GHANAsoccernet.com
“My career is more important than the shortlist. If I can prove myself in my team and maintain my position. That’s what I needed not the shortlist of CAF or something.”
