Daniel Opare has expressed his intense desire to make his Nations Cup debut for Ghana.
The 21-year-old is one of three outfield players to be handed playing times by coach Goran Stevanovic.
Despite impressing in a make-shift left-back position during the qualifiers and exhibition games, youngster Massawudu Alhassan has been favoured – extending Opare's stay on the bench.
"Of course, every player wants to be on the pitch and I really want to play," the Standard Liege player told GHANAsoccernet.
"Anytime I get my chance on the pitch I hope to give out my 100% and deliver."
Opare can also play as a right winger.
