Danish coach Tommy Moller Nielson is preaching ‘positive’ brand of football as he makes a case for an appointment as Kotoko technical director.

The 54-year-old wants to be appointed as the head of the technical department, promising to bring his brand of football to bear when he gets the nod.

Kotoko financier Dr Kwaku Frimpong of the famous Champion Divine Clinic, who brought Nielson to the country last week, has promised to foot the bill of the European tactician.

And the former Rangers coach is already promising an attacking style of play during his time in Kumasi.

“My tactics I have termed it positive football, that is play football organised, with pace, a lot of passing, to go forward and to have your game as much as possible to your opponent," he told Kumasi based radio, Otec FM.

“My philosophy is to play an attractive football, try to go forward and not to pack too much bus.

“I like to play two strikers and I want them to be dangerous. I always have a game plan; we always look at our opponents’ strength and their weaknesses”.

Nielson is expected to return to the West African country next month to conclude negotiations.
