German Bundesliga trio of Hamburg SV, VfL Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt have joined the race to sign Ghana attacker David Accam from Helsingborg IF.

Mexican outif Tigres were the first to table a €2.5 million offer for the 24-year-old but the German trio have entered into the race and will now give competition to Tigres and option to Helsingborg and Accam.

Helsingborg, who named the attacker as their player of the season on Monday, are prepared to cash on the highly-rated attacker but are looking for something within the region of â‚¬5 million.

But GHANAsoccernet.com sources in Germany have confirmed neither of the German trio will be ready to offer more than â‚¬3.5 million.

Accam has been watched by a host of clubs including French Ligue 1 and English Premier League outfits.

He has scored 23 times in all competitions for Helsingborg this season, guiding them to the final of the Swedish FA Cup.

Arsenal and Everton also reportedly scouted on Accam earlier in the season.
