Chicago Fire striker David Accam is the highest Ghanaian paid player in the Major League Soccer overtaking compatriots Adam Kwarasey and Harrison Afful.

According to report by the MLS Player Union, Accam takes home $650, 000 a year to make him the highest paid Ghanaian in the fast-growing MLS league.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey, who plays for Portland Timbers follows closely in second place with a yearly income of $260,000.
