Helsingborg's Ghanaian star David Accam says its not just about his goals that matters but is keen to improve as a player.Ã
The 23-year-old returned from suspension to net a double for Helsingborg and inspire them to a 3-1 win overà Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Wednesday night.
The double increases Accam's league tally to 16 goals, leaving him three behind IFK Goteborg striker Lasse Vibe who scored a hat-trick on the same night.
"For me, I want to improve everyday, its not just about scoring goals but playing as a complete player," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Accam's first goal, which came in the 4th minute, was a hallmark strike. The former Right to Dream Academy graduate played a wall-pass with a team-mate before ingeniously planting a firm effort to the bottom right corner.
After winning a penalty, he stepped up and forced a powerful drive home though the keeper got a hand to the ball.
Though the Black Stars attacker claims scoring is not just his priority but he is well aware someone else has overtaken him.
"He [Vibe] scored a hat-trick today and has taken his tally to 19," he added.
