David Accam scores twice to help Chicago fire defeat Harrison Afful’s Columbus Crew

David Accam won the battle of the two Ghanaians as he scored twice on the day to help his side pick up all three points against Harrison Afful’s Columbus Crew in the MLS.

With both sides looking for three points it was Accam who helped his Chicago Fire side draw first blood after scoring on the 7th minute against the run of play.

The goal was the beginning of more dominance Fire who were playing at home.

It was  Accam’s 4th in his last five games and it was an absolute beauty with technique written all over it.

Accam was at it again after being fed through by Ramos and he made it two for the home side, his 5th goal in five games.

It was two up for Fire who were clearly dominating proceedings.

With two minutes of added time Finley dispatched a penalty that was won by Francis to make it 2-1 and ensure Accam’s goals won all points on the day.
