Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan admits his team struggled from the onset in their thrilling 2-2 draw with New Edubiase on Sunday.
The champions fought from an early setback to race into a 2-1 lead by halftime.
Kotoko pretty much controlled the game thereafter and looked certain to earn the maximum points.
But a late Aminu Dramani strike denied them the win â⬓ leaving them with only a share of the spoils.
And coach Duncan in his post match analysis concedes his teamââ¬â¢s start to the game wasnââ¬â¢t the best.
ââ¬ÅWe were a bit jaded from the blocks, I think the coordination at the back wasnââ¬â¢t that efficient and Edubiase ceased the opportunity and took advantage to get the opening goal,â⬠Duncan said.
"But then we got better as the game wore on and we got a deserved equalizer and then went ahead before the break."
