David Duncan requests for New Edubiase duo, Latif Anabila and Bernard Ofori

Asante Kotoko head coach David Duncan is has placed a formal request before management to secure the services of New Edubiase duo, Abdul Lateef Anabilah and Bernard Ofori, as the rebuilding process of the club commences, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Sources close to New Edubiase have revealed that Latif Anabila caught the attention of the Kotoko coach during the first round of the league and the gaffer since contacted the Bekwai-based side for the signature of the midfielder.

Former U20 striker Bernard Ofori, who scored two of the team's four goals against Heart of Lions in their last game is also in the good books of the Kotoko coach as management is yet to approve funds for the duo.

The Porcupine Warriors have officially transfer-listed seven of the players with two other on loan to Lebanese sides as the head of the technical team take steps to revamp the fortunes of the club.

The 2014 champions missed out of all competition this season as they failed to pick a silverware in six different competition but the gaffer is highly determined to make amends ahead of the 2015/16 league season.

Bernard Ofori scored eight goals in the just ended league while Latif Anabilah is noted for the stunner against Hearts of Oak in their 2-1 win at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
