David Duncan wins first major trophy with Kotoko after SWAG Cup triumph

Published on: 30 November 2015

David Duncan has won his first major career trophy with Kotoko after guiding his team to clinch the 2015 SWAG Cup at the expense of regional rivals Ashantigold.

Duncan had been labeled as ‘failure specialist’ after failing to win a major trophy in his 15-year coaching career.

The tough-talking coach is hugely regarded in the West African country for his personality but his inability to win trophies seems to have dented his reputation.

But the former Hearts coach has silence critics after winning his first major trophy with the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday.
