Defender Ahmed Adams wants Cobbinah and Abbey at Kotoko

Asante Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams believes the club's acquisition of Hearts of Oak duo, Winful Cobbinah and Thomas Abbey would make their attacking department unplayable.

Abbey is the leading top scorer in the ongoing Ghana Premier League with 12 goals while Winful Cobbinah has been the most exciting player in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, and both players have been awarded with spots in the final selection of the Black Stars B team that will lock horns with Burkina Faso in the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.

And according to Adams, who joined Asante Kotoko three seasons ago from Berekum Chelsea is relishing the chance to team up with the Hearts of Oak duo in the Porcupine fold next season, claiming that they could help the club conquer the local league.

''Winful Cobbinah and Thomas Abbey are the players I want at Kotoko for now,'' the 23-year-old told  Silver FM

''If we get Cobbinah as an offensive midfielder, our striking department will become more deadly and clubs will perspire when meeting us in the league.''

''And again if we get the chance to sign these two outstanding Hearts of Oak players, I think Kotoko will be well contented upfront especially with Winful Cobbinah playing behind our good strikers next season,'' he pointed out.

Adams, however, named WAFA's Komlan Agbeniadan as the player who he found tough to defend against in the Ghana Premier League.

''Truly speaking, Wafa's Komlan Agbeniadan has been my toughest opponent this season. He really gave me tough time as in the first league in Kumasi.''

''Clearly, his agility on the field of play left me in much perspiration on the day as I did not even had a good diet on that day when I got home."
