Defender Gideon Mensah was sent off at the death for FC Liefering in their 2-2 draw at Hartberg on Friday night in the Austrian second-tier.
The left back collected a second yellow card in the 87th minute- his first in the 43rd minute.
Mensah, 19, has been key for the feeder club of top-flight side Red Bull Salzburg.
He was a key member of the team who won the 2017 UEFA Youth League in Nyon.
