Aduana Stars defender Hafiz Adams is delighted to have won his first major trophy with the club after joining in the close season.

The marauding right has quickly cemented his place as the first choice right-back since joining the Fire Boys from Wa All Stars in the off-season.

The 25-year-old proved his mettle for the side as they pipped Asante Kotoko 1-0 to the Super Cup last Sunday at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

“The feeling is great and I am very happy because winning a trophy in less than two months after joining the club is good morale booster” he told footballmadeinghana.com

“Personally, this is my second super cup trophy as a footballer, the first one was with Wa All Stars. I hope I can win more laurels with Aduana,”

“Aduana Stars is a good club with good players, hopefully we can retain the league trophy and also go far in Africa with hard work,” he added.

Adams captained Wa All Stars to the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League title.
