Ghana's Black Maidens will be without defender Ivy Kolli for Tuesday's Fifa U-17 Women's World Cup semi-final clash with France in Baku.

The 16-year-old who was influential in the group stages wins over Uruguay and China missed out of Friday's quarter-final triumph over Japan with a hamstring injury.

Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani confirmed the Inter Royal Ladies' enterprising defender will miss the all-important clash.

"We have minor injury concerns in camp but one player (Ivy Kolli) has been ruled out of the game against France," he told Accra-based Hot FM.

Ghana became the first African country to qualify for the semi-finals in the competition's history after beating Japan 1-0 on Friday evening.
