Ghana and Cukaricki defender Lee Addy has revealed his ambitions of playing for Ghana again after rediscovering his form in the Serbian Super-Liga.

The 25-year-old defender has featured in his sides last four games in the Serbian league after joining Cukaricki last summer.

Addy, who was touted as the future of Ghana football in his days with Nania FC and Bechem United all in Ghana has struggled to live with the tag of being a Star from a very young age.

But having found form in Serbia he says he is looking forward to another opportunity to represent his nation.

“I think that Ghana has a lot of quality players and that is a fact but I have been with the national team before and if I get the opportunity again why not?,” The former Red Stars Belgrade man told Accra based Happy FM

“I think that some people played before I came and since then others have come and gone but that is football.”

“I am working well and I know very well that my chance will come again soon”

Cukaricki is currently 2nd on the Serbian Super-Liga with 32 points after 18 games.
