Kumasi Asante Kotoko have coiled back from the transfer of Aduana Stars right back Godfred Saka due to the demands of the Dormaa-based side, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The Local Black Stars defender has been on the wanted list of the Porcupine Warriors for the past three seasons.

But sources close to the Dormaa-based club have disclosed that the Porcupine Warriors have chicken out of the deal.

According to the source, the Dormaa-based side are asking for one hundred and twenty thousand Ghana cedis (₵120,000.00) which is equivalent to ₵1.2b old Ghana cedis.

The Porcupine Warriors are believed to have opted to pay sixty thousand Ghana cedis (₵60,000) which the 2010 champions rejected.

The reds have since coiled back from the deal since they are not ready to pay beyond that amount.

The hopes of Godfred Saka, who is likely to end his four-year stay with Aduana Stars this season, of playing for Kotoko has since been truncated.
