Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani doubts if the Black Maidens have the credentials to win the 2014 FIFA U17 Womenââ¬â¢s World Cup in Coast Rica.
The Africans will take on Italy in Thursdaysââ¬â¢ quarter-final showdown, hoping to secure their berth in the last four.
The Black Maiden managed wins over Korea DPR and Germany and lost to Canada to top their group.
There is some sense of optimism among local fans following the sideââ¬â¢s bronze medal feat in Azerbaijan two years ago.
However, Dramani, who guided the side to place third in the last edition, wants fans to cool their expectations on the team.
ââ¬ÅI have not seen the Italian sideà but we should be careful and modest in our expectations,â⬠he said
ââ¬ÅI hope the technical team has seen their weaknesses and strength. To be honest with you I think it still early days yet.
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s going to be a difficult task. I shudder to think that weââ¬â¢ll win the trophy. We have to be candid that itââ¬â¢s not going to be easy.ââ¬
Coach Augustine Evans Adotey will be without forward Priscilla Adubea who has been ruled out of the tournament with an injury.
