Dr. Mustapha Ahmed's disastrous reign as Ghana's sports minister took a calamitous twist on Monday when the country's athletes participating in the All African Games in Congo were left stranded on the streets of Brazzaville for NINE HOURS when they landed for the competition because of unpaid accommodation fees.

The over 200 athletes and officials arrived in Brazzaville at dawn on Monday but the blundering sports ministry had not paid the money for the delegation to be given their accommodation for the competition.

This happened even though the ministry had traveled to Brazzaville claiming they were preparing for the country's smooth participation in the competition.

Several reports by the Leader of Delegation Saka Acquaye on behalf of the National Sports Authority and the Ministry of Youth and Sports had indicated that all was well with the organization before the contingent enplaned to Congo Brazzaville.

However the ministry's amateurishness was exposed when the delegation arrived and were met with the rude shock of not having accommodation paid for the competition.

Athletes who needed much rest from the long journey were left at the mercy of the weather and the streets as they waited for accommodation.

This comes after several disastrous moves by the news sports minister Dr. Ahmed whose reign has been filled with blunders.

The delegation includes Ghana's U23 male national team The Black Meteors and the female senior women's national team The Black Queens
