Recently-released defender Sylvain Distin is set to join Ghana star Christian Atsu at newly-promoted English Premier League side Bournemouth.
DIstin has reached an agreement in principle with the Premier League newcomers as he looks to take his next step after leaving Everton.
The 37-year-old was keen to remain in the Premier League after losing his place in Roberto Martinez's first team at the start of the year.
With his contract with the Blues expiring this month he is now a free agent.
