Division Two League Zone III wrap: Golden Boys and Accra Youth win big
Accra Youth

The Greater Accra Division Two Zone III League resumed in midweek after a nine-day break with match day fixtures.

Golden Boys FC and Newtown Youth FC showed that they had worked on their shooting as they both drubbed their respective opponents in impressive 3-0 wins.

Meanwhile, FCM Maamobi’s tactical expertise helped them to hand Dynasty FC their first defeat of the season.

Accra Youth still sit on top of the table with Emmanuel FC nipping at their heels after both teams recorded narrow 1-0 victories.

At the lower half of the table, Great Farcos FC and Desert Warriors FC played to the only draw of the day.

Dawtex FC has now suffered back to back losses, while Lenient FC and Zein FC could not build on their previous good form and tasted defeats.

At the very bottom of the table, Powerlines FC and Westland’s FC unceasing woes continued as they both slip further and further from the rest of the pack.

On the other hand, Auroras FC was my disappointment of the week.

I was expecting them to put on a brilliant goal scoring display, but they could only manage 1 as they squeaked past struggling Powerlines FC.
