Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah could start against Lesotho in Sunday’s World Cup qualifier in Maseru.

Adiyiah, 23, was an unused substitute during the side’s 3-1 win at Sudan in Omdurman last weekend.

The Arsenal Kyiv man returned to the team after a long absence but is reported to have impressed heavily during training sessions.

He is likely to be picked ahead of Richmond Boakye Yiadom to partner captain Asamoah Gyan at the Setso stadium.

The ex-Ghana Under-20 star scored a brace during the Black Stars 7-0 hammering of their opponent during the corresponding fixture in Kumasi.

Let us give him the chance. This guy is a fighter and delivers when it matters most. I will prefer Gyan playing as a second striker behind adeyia. This relieves Gyan of the pressure and feed off adeyia. Make us proud Ghana as we wait for the Rubber Bullets.

People hav forgotten that Jordan also scored brace n de match against lesotho and even gave some assists

  4. The False says:

@Final whistle, this is a World Cup Qualifier, not a friendly Match.”Let us give him the Chance” my foot.how many times does he want to be given to prove himself?ill be surprised if he starts ahead of Mahatma and Boakye Yiadom

    • Final Whistle says:

Massa try to be civil here. what do you mean by “my foot”? How many times do you want Adeyia to prove you wrong? Its a fact he made the wrong move to AC Milan but the guy has quality as a striker! Stop these insults because they are becoming too much. Anyway I don’t blame coz that is the order of the day from our politicians

  5. Sam Praise says:

The truth is, if not for the abundance of talents at our disposal, all this guys are first team materials, aside our first team, we can still raise two or three standard black stars, that’s what makes you a football nation, not when you manage to raise a team, you call your self a football nation, we only have five football nations in Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana and Cote d’voire, countries like Tunisia and south africa are also trying in talent development while countries like Zambia are still very far from talent development and therefore cannot be said to be a football nation.

  6. Anokwale says:

I think that the 4-1-3-2 formation is working well for the team and so players up front are quite interchangeable as long as the player in front of the back four (Rabiu) is very active. Put K. Asamoah at left back though.

  7. Asem says:

Yes!4-1-3-2 is good as the team’s first line of defence are the 2 strikers!thus Adiyia as a fighter is a good replacement!!

  8. PITO says:

It was RBY who created the opportunity for the first goal against sudan by Speeding past a sudanese defender in the 18 yard box and covering the air ball with his height before kicking the falling ball with his stupendous right foot which the sudanese goalie parried away into adomahs path. Adomah returned the shot only to be parried away again into the BabyJets path. Why should we change a winning team?
