Donnarumma contract demands hand dilemma to new AC Milan owners

Published on: 23 February 2017

AC Milan's incoming owners face an early challenge over Gianluigi Donnarumma's contract status.

The goalkeeper, now 18, is seeking a new deal, with his agent pushing for talks.

Corriere dello Sport says Mino Raiola is demanding a deal worth €5 million-a-year for Donnarumma to re-sign.

Milan, meanwhile, are reluctant to go higher than €2.5 million-a-year, with Sino-Europe heavily involved in negotiations.

The Chinese group are expected to complete their takeover next week.
