Midfielder Kofi Abanga has returned to training with Hearts of Oak after recovering from a long knee injury.

The 23-year-old had surgery on both knees last year in South Africa and is now inching closer to repaying the faith, investments and patience reposed in him by the Accra-based club.

He would however not be available for selection for a couple of weeks until doctors give him the all clear if there are no complications incurred during training.

Also defender, Godwin Quashigah who has also been given the all clear is however yet to report for training.

Hearts battles Mighty Jets in the second fixture of this season's league on Sunday after recording an impressive 1-0 win over Berekum Arsenals on opening day.
