Ex-Kotoko chief Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong has reiterated his stance of not standing against Kwesi Nyantakyi for the Ghana FA top job.
The astute businessman has insisted he will not be returning to football management after leaving the Ghanaian giants last year.
Despite the persistent denials from his close associates, reports of him being interested in the Ghana FA presidency is refusing to wash away with claims he has setup a consortium to begin the lobbying process to unseat incumbent Nyantakyi.
However Dr Sarpong insists heââ¬â¢s done and dusted with football management and has no interest in the FA top position.
ââ¬ÅI will turn 60, this year, so I have decided to retire from any active management, including football. There will be no return for K.K Sarpong into football, so everybody should relax his knees,â⬠he told Kumasi-based Metro FM
ââ¬ÅI am not interested in any GFA position and after managing Kotoko, I donââ¬â¢t see the need to take up any club, because Kotoko is bigger than any football institution in Ghana including the GFA.ââ¬
